General Community Education Survey

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Community Education will issue a full refund when a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. You may cancel up to three business days before the start of a class with a full refund. After that time, there will be no refunds. If there is a supply fee involved, it will be deducted from your refund. If you need to cancel, please notify Community Education at 379-4834.

Trip Refunds/ Cancellations

Due to deposit requirements, there will be no refunds on trips, unless cancelled by Community Education.

Inclement Weather Policy

If the Albert Lea School District is closed due to bad weather, the Community Education classes and activities are cancelled. Listen to KATE Radio for weather related announcements.

Photo Policy

There are occasions when representatives of District 241 and/or the media photograph or videotape students while in school or attending/participating in school sponsored functions. Parents/guardians not wanting their child/self to be identified in photographs, videotape or Community Education brochures should notify, in writing, the Community Education office.

Participation Agreement

Participation in any CE program, class or activity is voluntary. By enrolling in these courses you indicate that you have no physical conditions or health history that would make your participation hazardous to your health. Participants (and parents of participants) hold District 241 free from liability in case of accidents of any nature.
